“Still crazy after all these years….” (lyrics by Paul Simon)

As if 7 children were not enough, we’ve greatly multiplied with dogs, horses, and a few other various critters all combined to make Kingdom Come Ranch a lively, bustling... “little heaven on earth”.

Todd and Pam Bailey both came to Colorado in the early 1960’s from the Mid-West (Ohio and Michigan respectively).  Both grew up in the Golden area with a love for animals and the outdoors.  Although not marrying until later in life, they met early on as junior alpine ski racers and continued to ski, race, and coach for most of their lives.  Along with interests in a variety of sports and outdoor pursuits, Todd and Pam both were (and are) “animal lovers”.  Pam was raised with horses and dogs, and Todd with dogs and multiple other animals that he spent hours tending and training.

m Pam rode strictly for pleasure until 2000 (after most of the children were raised) and then began an interest in reining & reined cowhorse.  6 years later, she is totally addicted to riding and competing in these disciplines, and with the help of her trainers Jill and Jim Cook, she enjoyed a great competitive 2006 season. Visit the Horse News for more.

Todd rides as well and is showing this year in Saddle Series Shows despite the fact that he had double hip-replacement surgery in the spring/summer.  Todd’s expertise is caring for the horses and the property, along with management and training of the dogs.

Todd and Pam began breeding performance horses and Yorkshire Terriers several years ago, and have recently begun breeding top of the line Russell Terriers (Shorty Jacks).

Combined, they have 7 children ranging in age from 27 to 13 (2 sets of twins)…with 1 grandchild on the way!

So crazy or not, after all these years, we (Todd and Pam) are very happily involved in our Kingdom Come Ranch lives and activities.  We plan to expand, improve, continue to learn and share as much as possible, and look forward many more bountiful years.
